Introduction
Telecom Cambodia (T.C.) is a state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (MPTC), established by Sub-Decree No. 001 ANKr.BK on January 12, 2005. T.C. operates with the rights and responsibilities to fulfill its mission in accordance with national policies and its business objectives, serving as a fixed-line network operator and a backbone infrastructure provider in Cambodia. With more than 20 years of operational experience, T.C. has provided reliable connectivity to government institutions, businesses, and households across the country, while strengthening Cambodia’s connectivity to regional and global networks.
T.C. Technical Network Coverage
Telecom Cambodia (T.C.) has built a strong nationwide foundation, comprising 1,624 km of optical fiber backbone, 759 km of access networks (underground and aerial fiber-optic networks), and 1,186 km of underground cable ducts. This infrastructure supports a comprehensive portfolio of services covering telecommunications, internet, and fiber-optic infrastructure solutions, together with wholesale and carrier services that support operators and large enterprises. T.C. operates networks and provides domestic and international services across multiple transmission media, including radio telecommunications systems, satellite, copper and fiber-optic cables, and submarine fiber-optic cables, ensuring resilient and scalable connectivity for Cambodia’s digital economy.
